Hello 5Strong.

After nearly 5 years of meeting on a very regular basis, we have decided to pause the 2nd Tuesday monthly meeting until further notice. This is by no means a goodbye, but quite the opposite.

When we began this journey in October of 2021, we wanted to join together to help our community in a time of crisis. Covid had taken over as did all those ridiculous rules. We started with 6 and have grown immensely. We wanted to help in any way we could, and I believe we have achieved that. The election integrity group broke off from 5Strong and is still working hard and doing great things.

Today, we will no longer have the monthly meeting but will focus more on our community. Currently we meet for monthly supper club and health & wellness. We also have a quarterly book club and a frequent support tea gathering. We have discussed having someone look for different local events and participate as a group, i.e. painting, pottery, movies…whatever. More to come on that one.

So for now, keep checking back on our website calendar to see what is going on. Also, please save the date for 22 October. We will be celebrating 5Strong’s 5th anniversary and would love to have you all join us.
